FAQ's

Where do you treat my animal?

We travel to treat your animal in your own home or yard. We find that treating an animal in its own environment means it is most relaxed and happy and therefore can gain the most out of treatment.

We are currently looking into the possibility of providing a clinic within a local North London vet surgery and linking with a hydrotherapy centre in North London, so watch this space.

Do I need to have Veterinary consent before you can treat my dog?

It is a legal requirement for any professional treating an animal, to have vet consent as stated by the 1966 Veterinary Surgeons Act. This ensures that your animal receives the best possible care from appropriately qualified professionals. You will find the referral form for your vet under the vet referral page.

Will my insurance pay for Physiotherapy treatment?

Most pet insurers cover Physiotherapy treatment undertaken by an ACPAT qualified Physiotherapist. Prior to commencing treatment, you should contact your insurer to outline the terms of your insurance policy, and ensure that costs will be met. On each appointment you will pay the Physiotherapist via cheque/BACs/Cash and you will be provided with a receipt, which you will submit along with your claims form to the pet insurance company.

Some insurance providers require the Physiotherapist to fill out the back of the vet form and others require only the vet to do so, please check with your insurance provider so as not to delay your payment claim.

Please also note some insurance providers have a limit on the total costs for Physiotherapy they will pay out for and/or the number of treatment sessions, so please check with your insurer before commencing treatment.
